It is a Macro World!
SinceI received my new Nikon D60, I have been super busy playing with all the functions to see what I can do with this wonderful piece of technology! I am, by choice, a portrait photographer who likes to shoot in macro in her spare time. I use the term spare time lightly because I have two children, two dogs and a husband who like to be taken care, fed, clean house! You get the picture!
My inspiration lately has been Christmas decorations! Afterall it is the season, you know! I have photographed my tree, the neighbors tree, the tree at church and lots of other decorations that I have happened across! I am happy getting “up close and personal” with the decorations because, unlike children, they do not wiggle and squirm and become uncooperative. Don’t get me wrong, I love doing photographs of families and children, however, taking a macro shot is like therapy for me. I find it relaxing and enjoyable! I hope you like this sample of my work!
